general information:
Licensing required TO HUNT:

  • Check in is anytime after 3:00PM the evening prior to your first day of hunting.  

  • Departure time is after lunch on the last day of hunting.

OKLAHOMA TRAVEL 

If you are flying commercial, Stillwater Regional (SWO) is the closest; Will Rogers Oklahoma City (OKC) is the nearest major Airport and is approx. an hour and a half from the lodge. If you are flying private, you can fly into Enid Woodring Regional Airport in Enid, OK (WDG); approx. 30 min. from the lodge. We will provide transportation to and from any of these three Airports.

ARKANSAS TRAVEL

If you are flying commercial, Clinton National Airport (LIT) is the nearest major Airport. You will be responsible for your own transportation to the lodge from the Airport approx. one (1) hour away. 

You will need to purchase all State and Federal licenses prior to your arrival (we can purchase them online from the lodge in a pinch, but prefer you bring them with you). You may purchase all necessary licenses at:

OKLAHOMA 

  •  Federal Waterfowl Stamp

  •  Resident or Non-Resident Small Game Hunting License

  •  Oklahoma State Waterfowl Permit

  •  Oklahoma State HIP Certification

  •  Hunters Education Certification unless born before 9/2/71

  •  If you DO NOT have hunters education certification, click here: https://www.fws.gov/offices/statelinks.html , then click on your respective state's wildlife department website and search 'hunter education'.

ARKANSAS 

  •  A valid hunting license from any state is all that is required to hunt during the Light Goose Conservation Order.

WHAT TO BRING:

OKLAHOMA

  • Shotgun - 12 or 20 gauge recommended (Loaner guns available)

  • Outerwear – marsh pattern camo outer layers and warm under layers recommended (prepare for the worst weather and hope for the best!)

  • Hunting Boots – warm waterproof recommended

  • Gloves – warm waterproof recommended

  • Camera – for capturing those special moments

  • Eye Protection – sunglasses or shooters glasses recommended

  • Ear Protection – disposable ear plugs are complimentary or quality hearing protection can be purchased in the Pro-shop

  • Slippers/Lodge Shoes – we ask that hunting boots not be worn in the lodge outside of the mudrooms.

  • Toiletries & Personal Prescriptions

ARKANSAS
